After school hours and confidentiality basics
If it is after school hours or you cannot talk to someone at school, Kids Help Phone and 211 Ontario are good first steps.
Different supports have different confidentiality rules. In general, you can share only what you feel ready to share, but helpers may need to act if there is a serious risk of harm. If you are unsure, you can ask, “What happens if I tell you this?”
